GOTZIS (AUT): The Hypo meeting in Gotzis has confirmed the presence of its two home stars decathletes Roland Schwarzl and Dominik Distelberger. Both athletes are aiming to qualify for the IAAF World Championships later this year and are hoping to impress the home audience with a score over 8000 points. The organization also released more names for the women’s heptathlon with Marina Goncharova, Ida Marcussen, Jana Maksimava and Bettie Wade.

HUTCHINSON (USA, May 20): In the heats of JUCO (NJCAA) championships Everett Walker posted 10.20 (+2.2) and 20.82 (+2.2) in the heats. Jamaican Jura Levy achieved 11.16 (+3.1) in the women 100 m heats.
