BERLIN (GER): German javelin thrower Mark Frank is preparing his comeback for the 2011 season. The javelin thrower lost out on the European championships due to persistent injuries but believes he can come back to top level in 2011 and make the 2012 Olympic Games. Frank, who was the 2009 German champion, also mentioned he feels Mathias De Zordo’s performances in the last year have been very inspirational writes leichtathletik.de.

EDINBURGH (GBR): Freya Murray and Stephanie Twell will need to make the best of their current excellent form when spearheading the British challenge for honours on home soil at the Bupa Great Edinburgh Cross Country on January 8.
