DENVER (USA): Dathan Ritzenhein who is in preparation for New York City Marathon in November has withdrawn from he Denver Rock´n Roll Half Marathon scheduled for this Sunday. ”But since coming to Albuquerque for some altitude training, we have had some excellent workouts, and this has forced us to re-evaluate our final preparation for New York. As much as I would love to run in Denver, we regrettably have to take the prudent approach of skipping this weekend’s race. It’s with a heavy heart that I have to make the decision not to run in Denver, but as my focus for the year has always been to be at my best for New York, this will give me the best chance of achieving my goals,” Ritzenhein was quoted at runningcompetitor.com.
