MINNEAPOLIS (USA, Oct 3): Ethiopian Bizunesh Deba won the Twin Cities Marathon on Sunday with fast 2:27:24 what is her lifetime best. Second Russian Svetlana Ponomarenko got 2:35:23 and third another Ethiopian Serkalem Abrha achieved 2:36:16. US Sergio Reyes was the best man in 2:14:02, his personal best.
ETHEKWINI (RSA, Oct 2): South African Coolboy Ngamole in 2:16:48 and Samukeliso Moyo (Zimbabwe, 2:48:56) emerged men’s and women’s winners at the South Africa Marathon Championship in eThekwini (formerly Durban). As IAAF informs, the race was one of Athletics South Africa’s 2011 World Athletics Championships qualifiers.
