LAGOS (NIG): All Nigeria Open Track and Field Championship sprint champion, Blessing Okagbare, has arrived in Nigeria at the weekend to defend the national title she won last year. Okagbare’s greatest rival for the 100m title, Damola Osayomi has also arrived.
LOS ANGELES (USA): Kyle Miller, formerly of University of Texas has signed with Elite Athletes Network and will be represented by Karen Locke. He finished college with personal bests of 3:41.67 for 1500 meters and 4:00.50 mile. Miller has improved in 2011 to 3:36.82 and 3:55. His sudden rise, along with David Torrence makes them both strong contenders for upcoming championship teams.
