SULMONA (ITA, Sep 24-25): In the best group of Italian Club Championships Fabio Cerutti posted 10.30 (-0.1) in the 100 m and steeple world champion Ezekiel Kemboi won the 5000 m (13:50.61). On the women side Nigerian Agnes Osazuwa clocked 11.37 (+0.7) in the 100 m, Libania Grenot 23.59 (-0.8) in the 200 m, Marzia Caravelli 13.13 (+1.3) in the hurdles. Anna Giordano Bruno cleared 440 in the pole vault and Sibilla Di Vincenzo achieved 21:21.29 at 5000 m walk. Champions are men of L'Atletica Riccardi Milano and women of Audacia Record Atletica.


ROAD RESULTS

BURGOS (ESP, Sep 24): Javier Abad with 4:17 beat strong field at road mile here. Second Diego Ruiz 4:18, third Manuel Olmedo 4:18 ahead of Juan Carlos Higuero also 4:18. European 1500 m champion Arturo Casado was 7th (4:22). Women winner Iris Fuentes-Pila 4:56 ahead of Isabel Macias 4:57 and Natalia Rodriguez 4:58.
