KINGSTON (JAM): Donald Quarrie and Glen Mills, were among five persons on Saturday night, who we're inducted into Camperdown High's Alumni Hall of Fame. The function, held at the Terra Nova Hotel here in Kingston, saw several past and present students - including Wavell Hinds, Andria Lloyd, and former principals - Cynthia Cooke and Winnifred Smith - turn out to pay their respects. Athletic Association (JAAA) officials led by its president Howard Aris, were also in attendance.
RESULTS
OSAKA (JPN, Oct 30): 27 161 runners started and 26 175 finished the inaugural Osaka Mass Marathon. Kenyan Elijah Sang won in 2:12:43 ahead of Russian Aleksey Sokolov 2:13:15. Former world champion Lidia Simon of Romania was th best woman in 2:32:48 ahead of Kiyoko Shimahara 2:33:36.
