LONDON (GBR): It has been reported that West Ham United will be offered the chance to take over the Olympic Stadium after London 2012, beating rivals Tottenham Hotspur. Olympic Park Legacy Company (OPLC) executives have decided the offer from the club is a best solution. The Government and London’s Mayor, Boris Johnson will take a final decision in the coming weeks. PRAGUE (CZE): The appeal commission of Czech Olympic Committee confirmed the two years sanction for shot putter Remigius Machura jr. Czech Athletics Federation announced the ban last September and Machura used the possibility to appeal at the Czech Olympic Committee.
