LONDON (GBR): European 110m hurdles champion Andy Turner confirmed he will not compete at the European indoor championships in Paris in March. Turner has been running a couple of indoor races and is confident he can break his indoor personal best before the end of the season. Tuner will be running some more indoor races in preparation for the outdoor season writes yourlocalguardian.co.uk. It is still expected final decision about Paris participation will be made in by Andy Turner after Birmingham meet on February 19.
RESULTS
CHISINAU (MDA, Feb 5-6): Zalina Marghieva achieved new women Moldova´s hammer record with 72.74 at National winter throwing championships. Informs Sergey Donets. Serghei Marghiev got new boys junior national mark 75.53. Also to note from indoor championships in the same city Ivan Emilianov registered 20.31 in shot put and Alexandr Cuharenco 797 in long jump.
