AMSTERDAM (NED) : After a long break from the sport decathlete Eugène Martineau is in preparation again for the upcoming season. Martineau never intended to quit the sport but took some months off in 2010 to heal from injuries. The 30 year old athlete has been training full time again since November and hopes to mark a score in 2011 that is close to his personal best of 8233 points.

JOHANNESBURG (RSA): Oscar Pistorius has not given up his dream to compete in both the London Olympic Games as the London Paralympic Games. The 23 year old athlete wants to be the first paralympian to achieve the feat and was quoted on Sportsvibe: “I would never sacrifice the opportunity to compete in the Paralympics and there is no reason why I can’t do both. I will work hard and if I qualify for the Olympics, then I plan to take part in both.”
