ALICANTE (ESP): World triple jump indoor record holder Teddy Tamgho continues his training with Ivan Pedroso in Alicante and confirmed for athle.com that he is in heavy training prior to the outdoor season. Tamgho reported he was happy about his indoor season but is already moving forward knowing that jumping 18m is only one step towards fulfilling his full potential. Nonetheless, he is not underestimating his opponents for the upcoming World championships in Daegu.

NEW YORK (USA): Race Results Weekly writes that after romping over the well-groomed grass of Mission Bay Park in sunny San Diego last February, American harriers who plan to compete in the USA Cross Country Championships in 2012 and 2013 should be prepared for frozen ground and chilly temperatures. USA Track & Field announced that the next two editions of those championships will be held in Forest Park in St. Louis. The 2012 championships will not select the American team for the IAAF World Cross Country Championships because that championships will now be held every two years (the next edition is in 2013). However, the 2012 meet will select the teams for the North American, Central American, Caribbean (NACAC) Cross Country Championships.
