JOHANNESBURG (RSA): South African Oscar Pistorius has opened a sensory room for young people with disabilities and learning difficulties in Manchester. The room is worth 36,000 dollars and was a result of a partnership between BT and the charity organization The Lord’s Taverners. Pistorius is currently in Manchester for the BT Paralympic World Cup next week.
RESULTS
HAVANA (CUB, May 22-23): At Cuban national games Yipsi Moreno continued in hammer return (69.37), former world record holder Osleidys Menendez achieved 61.13 in javelin. In men races William Collazo clocked 45.57 in the 400 m and Dayron Capetillo 13.67 (+2.0) at 110 m hurdles.
