PARIS (FRA): French media are informing that world indoor record holder in triple jump Teddy Tamgho announced he will start training with former multiple long jump world champion and gold medalist Ivan Pedroso of Cuba who currently lives in Spain. „I decided to start training in early October with Pedroso and will go to Alicante,“ Tamgho was quoted. The first part of cooperation is set for six months. After the European Indoor Championships in Paris next March first evaluations will happen. After leaving his coach Jean-HervĂ© Stievenart early May, he has for weeks working alone.

FRANKFURT (GER): News from German Athletics Federation DLV. New Head-Coach for Track is former hurdler Cheick-Idriss Gonschinska (41). Former responsible head-coach Rudiger Harksen will be in future overseeing hurdles sprints in German Federation. The head-coach for technical events is Herbert Czingon. Female marathon runner Susanne Hahn was named as athletes representative in the presidium of the federation. Walker Andre Hohne is deputy athletes representative. Former speakers for athletes were Andrea Ziercke and Marc Blume.
