DONNAS (ITA, Jul 10): Ben Meite of Ivory Coast achieved a sprint double at EAP meet in Italy with windy 10.19 (+3.2) and legal 20.72 (+0.5). Slovak long jumper Jaroslav Dobrovodsky got 802 but no Barcelona qualifier or personal best as the wind was +5.2. Spanish Lios Martinez won discus in good 65.04. Relay world champion Simone Facey also a sprint double with 11.31 (+3.1) and 22.90 (+1.8).
KUTNĂ HORA (CZE, Jul 10): At city square pole vault meet new event record by Michal Balner who cleared 564. Women winner Romana Malacova went over 441 but her mark will not be considered as Barcelona standard due to the type of the meeting.
