ATLANTA (USA): Trackandfieldnews.com says that often injured javelin American Record holder Breaux Greer is recovering from shoulder surgery. He hasn‘t thrown the javelin since the Beijing qualifying round two years ago and hasn‘t had a throw of significance since 20007 when he set the AR of 299-6 (91.29). Manager Paul Doyle says the colorful Louisiana native, who will be 34 in October is “throwing well over 80 meters in practice.” He expects to make his return next year, when he’ll take a shot at his fourth World Championships berth. He was the bronze medalist in the ’07 Worlds.
