ZURICH (SUI, Apr 11): Top four places in the 8^th Zurich Marathon for Kenyan runners. 30-years old last year Dusseldorf winner David Langat clocked 2:11:04 ahead of Stanley Leleito (2:11:37 and Daniel Kiptum (2:14:01). Best European and Swiss champion Tarcis Ancay as 8^th (2:20:53). Russian Olga Roseyeva repeated her last year win after 2:35:43 beating Sweden´s Lena Gavelin 2:38:21 and Ethiopian Emebet Abossa (2:44:40). Fourth place for Rachel Berthold who is also national champion (2:47:10).

OTHER RESULTS

MADRID (ESP, Apr 11): Kenyan Allan Ndiwa won the Madrid Half-marathon in 1:04:15 beating Moroccan Hamid El Mouaziz (1:04:39). In the women category Moroccan Soud Kambouchia who lives in Spain, clocked new event record 1:12:55. Another record was the participation number of 12 700 runners.
