HENGELO (NED): The FBK Games of Hengelo (May 30, IAAF World Challenge) announced great long jumping duel. Olympic winner Irving Saladino of Panama will clash with 2009 World Champion Dwight Phillips of USA. Saladino jumped in Hengelo in 2008 his best ever result 873 cm. In the 100 m last year winner Churandy Martina of Netherland Antilles will return. In 2009 he clocked with 9.97 the first sub 10 in Netherlands. In total Martina so far achieved sub 10 four times. Three runs in Beijing at Olympic Games and Hengelo 2009.

DES MOINES (USA): Top names for Drake Relays are Lolo Jones at 100 m hurdles the fresh world indoor champion against former global title holder Canadian Perdita Felicien. The invitational field also includes US hurdlers Damu Cherry, Danielle Carruthers, Candice Davis, Nichole Denby with Jamaican Vonette Dixon and Nigerian Seun Adigun. For Jones this should be the season opener, then she plans to race in Doha at Qatar Diamond League opener. Shot put world champion Christian Cantwell will return to seek his seventh Drake Relays career title in the men‘s invitational event. Also in the field 2007 world champion Reese Hoffa and defending Drake Relays champion Dan Taylor. The 101st Drake Relays will be held from April 22 to 24 when the invitational events will be held.
