PARIS (FRA): Reigning walking European champion Yohan Diniz of France plans a full competition calendar for 2010. He will contest all of the 2010 IAAF Race Walking Grand Prix meetings, with a mind to toughening himself up for the future, writes IAAF. “I want to be in top form for the European Championships and to have a wonderful World Cup. I want to do my best in the IAAF Challenge because I’m participating for the first time,” he was quoted.

MOSCOW (RUS): RusAthletics informed date changes of national championships. Russian CC Championships in Zhukovskiy will be staged on May 1 (instead of April 24) and national marathon championships race in Moscow on May 3 (instead of May 2).
