In men discus Jason Young again won in 66.84 and taking Dutch Eric Cadee as second to new personal best 66.20. Former olympic and world winner Felix Sanchez of Dominican Republic clocked in flat 400 m solid 45.99. Ryan Whiting the shot world leader again good 21.26 m. Briton Laura Turner won both sprints in 11.56 (+1.8) and 23.92 (+1.6).

KOBE (JPN, Apr 24-25): Kenyan John Thuo posted world leading 27:15.73 at Hyogo Relay Carnival. Second Josephat Ndambiri got 27:16.51 and third Kenyan CC champion Paul Tanui improved to 27:17.61. Best Japanese Satoru Kitamura as fifth (28:19.01). Kayoko Fukushi posted 31:29.03 in the women 10 000 m over debuting Hikari Yoshimoto (31:30.92) and Kenyan Doricah Obare in 31:37.07 personal best.
