PARIS (FRA): The French athletics association has announced its team for this weekend’s SPAR European team championships in Bergen, Norway. Star of the team will be Teddy Tamgho who just last weekend jumped a sensational 17.98 in the triple jump. Tamgho will be joined by sprint sensation Christophe Lemaître and pole vault star Renaud Lavillenie. Also in the men’s team will be sprinter Martial Mbandjock and 400m runner Leslie Dhjone. On the women’s team Felix Fanjanteino will do a double with the 800m and 1500m, Véronique Mang will do the 100m sprint while Muriel Hurtis-Houairi will do both the 4x100 and 4x400 relay confirms athle.com.


RESULTS

SOFIA (BUL, Jun 13): Former European medalist Venelina Veneva cleared good 195 during second day of Bulgarian Championships. Also to note 14.21 in triple jump by Andriyana Banova (+0.9) what is her life-time best. Nikolay Atanasov got 798 in long jump (+2.0) and Yordan Ilinov clocked 20.98 (+0.9) in the 200 m.
