CARACAS (VEN): The Venezuelan Athletics Federation has informed the IAAF of the sudden death of its President, Dr. Nelson Augusto Rodriguez Freites on 13 June 2010 in Caracas, Venezuela. Nelson Augusto Rodriguez Freites, 63 years old, was an honourable lawyer, coach and sports leader, and notably also the Vice-President of CONSUDATLE, the IAAF Area Association for South America. Informs IAAF.
