MOSCOW (RUS): Rusathletics.com informs that European Athletics confirmed the change in results at European Junior Championships 2009 in Novi Said in junior women 4x400 m relay. Ukrainian Olga Zemlyak who competed for winning team as first runner was disqualified for doping and so her team will return the gold medals. Russia is now the title winner ahead of Germany and France.

FINDLAY (USA): The University of Findlay will host its fourth annual Elite Weight Throw competition as part of the Findlay Indoor Track & Field Open on Friday. An outstanding field has been assembled including Olympians Libor Charfreitag of Slovakia and A.G. Kruger. Charfreitag is Osaka 2007 hammer bronze medalist and European WT best holder 25.68 m. Kruger will look to dethrone him as five-time USA champion in the weight throw with a personal best of 24.78m. He also leads current world lists with 23.80 m.
