INDIANAPOLIS (USA): 2003 world champion 400m runner Tyree Washington has launched a new web-site, www.killaroid.com, aimed at educating young people about the dangers of performance-enhancing drug use. Washington also had been a victim of his relay teammates having used performance-enhancing drugs and returned his 4x400m relay gold medals from the 2003 World Indoor and World Outdoor Championships and the 1997 World Championships, usatf.org informs.

ATHENS (GRE): Financial crisis has its outcome in Greek sports and athletics. As Greek media are informing, the whole indoor season and staging of the International Indoor IAAF Permit meeting are under question. Expected total financial cuts are at 20 percent level.
